Valentine’s Wild Hearts
From the city of love, these Parisian heart-shaped cakes are topped with gobs of melted chocolate. Bon Appetit!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag DOVE® Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate Hearts
- 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Valentine’s Day
- Red food coloring
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 container ready-to-spread vanilla frosting
- 1 container white frosting
- Heart-shaped cookie cutter
What to do:
- Make cake according to packages directions.
- Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan, and bake until done.
- Allow cake to cool, then cut cake in half, lengthwise.
- Create pink frosting by placing white frosting in bowl and adding red food coloring until desired shade of pink is achieved.
- Spread frosting onto one layer of cake. Sprinkle with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Valentine’s Day, then top with remaining layer of cake.
- Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, about 2-1/2 to 3 inches in size, cut hearts out of cake and place onto wire rack.
- To melt DOVE® Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate Hearts, microwave for approximately 3-4 minutes on medium power, stirring every 20-30 seconds, being very careful not to burn.
- Pour the melted DOVE® Brand Milk or Dark Chocolate Hearts over heart-shaped cakes, being sure to enrobe completely.
- Decorate with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Valentine’s Day as desired.
