Elegant Shortbread Sticks
These delicious sticks should accompany a cup of tea or coffee.

What you'll need:
  • 1 bag SNICKERS® BRAND FUN SIZE®
  • 1 bag DOVE® Brand Dark Chocolate
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese, optional
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry preserves, optional
  • 1 cup fresh fruit, optional
  • 9x13-inch baking pan
  • Aluminum foil
  • Sharp knife
  • Waxed paper
  • Baking sheet
  • 1/2-inch wide satin ribbon, optional
What to do:
  1. Process flour, sugar, salt and 1 cup roughly chopped SNICKERS® BRAND FUN SIZE® in food processor until finely chopped. Add butter and process until just combined. Press mixture into foil-lined baking pan. Score surface, marking 12 shortbread sticks, each 9X3/4 -inch. Bake in preheated 325-degree oven for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. While warm, cut strips in pan, using scored lines as guide, cool completely. Meanwhile, set aside 5 pieces of DOVE® Brand Dark Chocolate and microwave remaining chocolate for 30 seconds or until just melted. Remove and add 5 reserved pieces, stir until melted.
  3. Break apart shortbread sticks and dip one end into melted DOVE® Brand Dark Chocolate. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Before serving, tie ribbon around one end of shortbread stick. Serve with ricotta sweetened with strawberry preserves and fresh fruit.
Makes 12 shortbread sticks.
