Afternoon Biscotti
Take a biscotti break and enjoy a little taste of Italy.

What you'll need:
  • 1 cup M&M'S® BRAND Milk Chocolate Candies
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 large egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • Nonstick foil
  • baking sheets
What to do:
  1. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Whisk egg whites with vanilla and add to dry ingredients. Add M&M’S® BRAND Milk Chocolate Candies, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, rolled oats and cranberries; stir until combined.
  2. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface and form it into a ball. Divide dough in half. Place both halves on foil-lined baking sheet and pat into 12-inch logs about four inches apart.
  3. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 35 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes.
  4. Reduce temperature to 325 degree. Cut the logs into 1/3" slices on a diagonal and lay them flat on foil-lined baking sheets. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Cool before storing in airtight containers.
Makes 24 biscotti.
