I want to throw a "Mothers Mother's Day"—a fun get-together with all of my mom's friends. Any ideas?

A spa party. Make some fun oatmeal masks, avocado masks, perhaps bring in either a masseuse or a manicurist. Perhaps you could have fun goodie bags with samples of beauty products and put some Dove® Brand Chocolates in there, too, because women like chocolate. This is always a fun party. Tell all the moms to come in their sweats and flip-flops.

My mother lives in a nursing home, so I want to bring Mother's Day to her. Do you have any ideas on how I can make this fun and exciting for her?

Put together a bunch of photo albums, gathering as many pictures as you can from other family members. Bring other portable items, such as balloons or flowers. You can both sit and reminisce over those incredible family pictures. Bring either a Polaroid camera with you or a digital, and have someone take a picture of the two of you there that day, which later you can send or bring her framed for her lunch table.
