Ghostly Goodies
Keep these sweet treats floating around the house for Halloween!

What you'll need:
  • 2 bags M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween
  • 6 clear sandwich bags or 9-inch square pieces of plastic wrap
  • Tape
  • 6 10 x 12-inch pieces white felt or white paper napkins
  • 6 12-inch strands string or ribbon
  • 6 cookie or craft sticks
  • Non-toxic glue
  • 1 piece red construction paper
  • 1 piece black construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Grey spray paint
  • Craft box or shoe box
  • 1 piece Styrofoam or floral oasis
What to do:
  1. For each ghost, pour 1/3 cup of M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween into a sandwich bag or square of plastic wrap. Twist and tape it closed tightly.
  2. Place each candy ball in the center of a felt piece or napkin.
  3. Slip a cookie stick into the ball of M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. One at a time, place felt on top of each ball. Tightly wrap it around the ball and tie it around the stick with the ribbon.
  4. Cut eyes and mouths from the red and black construction paper and affix them to the felt with glue.
  5. Paint the outside of the box. Once dry, fill it with Styrofoam.
  6. Press the cookie sticks into the Styrofoam. Cover the surface of the Styrofoam with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween.
Tip: If you don’t want to paint a box to use as a base for our ghosts, try one of these other decorating ideas. Cover the outside of any box or container with construction paper or fabric. Then decorate it using Halloween stickers and shapes. You can also buy a box that’s already decorated in grocery stores or craft stores. For an even easier solution, have the kids color Halloween shapes on a brown paper bag, or simply use small treat bags. No matter what you choose, remember to fill any of these containers with a base of Styrofoam to hold the ghosts!
