Funny Bunny Cookies
Why not create these hilarious Easter bunnies with your little ones—and make up a story about them, too!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Easter
- 1 bag STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® Fruit Chews for Easter, unwrapped
- 1 tube or bag M&M’S® Brand MINIS® (optional for the bunny’s basket)
- Yellow and orange food coloring
- 1 18-oz. package refrigerated cookie dough
- 1 16-oz. container white frosting
What to do:
- Thinly roll the cookie dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Press out two sizes of cookies: 3-inch cookies for the bunnies’ bodies, and 1-inch cookies for the bunnies’ heads.
- Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet, placing the smaller cookies next to the larger cookies. Press the edges of the two sets of cookies together. Bake them in a preheated 350-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, then cool.
- Divide the icing into 3 small bowls. Tint one bowl with a few drops of the orange food coloring and one with the yellow. Frost 1/3 of the cookies orange, 1/3 of them yellow, and 1/3 of them white.
- Soften the STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® Fruit Chews for Easter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Mold the candy into bunny ears and feet, then press them into the iced cookies to attach them. Dot the bunnies’ faces with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Easter for the eyes, noses and mouths.
For the bunny’s basket: Soften one unwrapped STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® Fruit Chews for Easter piece in your hand (or for 5 seconds in the microwave) and divide into two equal parts. Shape half into a 1-1/2 inch handle. Shape the other half into a semi-circle for the basket body. Make diagonal marks across the semi-circle with the tip of a knife. Press the rope into the two outside edges of the semi-circle, making a basket. Place the basket on the frosted cookie and fill the basket with several M&M’S® Brand MINIS®.
For the bunny’s carrot: Soften one unwrapped, orange STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® Fruit Chews for Easter piece in your hand (or for 5 seconds in the microwave) and shape it into a 1-inch long cone to resemble a carrot. For the carrot top, soften a green STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® Fruit Chews piece for Easter in the same way, then flatten and cut into spiky fronds. Press to attach them to the carrot and put the carrot on the cookie.
Makes 18 bunnies.
