Have each member of the class make their own Eggstra egg carton. Begin by having each child completely paint their egg carton with bright colors and decorate it with stickers.

Cut each number in half horizontally. Place one half of the number just above the seam line, and the other half below the line.

Fill each egg with the appropriate number of assorted M&M’S® Brand Candies that match the number on the outside of the egg.

Line up the eggs in an empty egg carton. Have each preschooler open each egg and count the candies he finds inside. When he’s finished, empty all the eggs and then have him fill them with the right number of candies for you to count. Go back and forth, filling and emptying the eggs until he knows his numbers inside and out!
