Peanut Butter Crispy Treats Ornaments
This classic combination of peanut butter, toasted rice cereal and chocolate is sure to be a hit this Christmas season!

What you'll need:
  • 1 bag M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
  • 4 cups toasted rice cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
What to do:
  1. Combine cereal and 1-3/4 cups M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Mini Baking Bits in lightly greased baking pan and set aside.
  2. Melt marshmallows, peanut butter, butter and salt in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal mixture, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated.
  4. Gently shape into 1-1/2-inch balls with buttered fingers. Place on waxed paper. Cool at room temperature until set.
  5. Store in a tightly covered container.
TIP: Wrap treats in cellophane, tie with ribbon, and hang on the tree.
