Crispy Oat Drops

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-3/4 cups M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies
  • 1 cup toasted rice cereal
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy; beat in egg.
  • 3. In medium bowl combine flour, oats, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; blend flour mixture into creamed mixture.
  • 4. Stir in M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies, cereal, coconut and pecans.
  • 5. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 6. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 7. Cool completely on wire racks.
  • 8. Store in tightly covered container.
