ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated piecrust for a 9-inch pie
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 box (3.9 oz.) "cook and serve" chocolate pudding
  • 4 individually-wrapped squares DOVE® 71% Silky Smooth Dark Chocolate or 4.7 oz. of any DOVE® Dark Chocolate
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping

  • 1. Lightly butter a 9-inch tart shell with a baking brush. Unroll the piecrust and press into tart shell mold prick the bottom and sides thoroughly with a fork. Bake the shell per package instructions until light golden brown. Allow it to cool and set aside.
  • 2. Break two bars of the DOVE® dark chocolate into small pieces and melt them in either a double boiler or a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water. While chocolate melts, prepare the pudding (using whole milk) by package directions. Allow the pudding to cool briefly.
  • 3. Drizzle the cooled tart shell with the melted chocolate. Chill for 10 minutes, until chocolate is completely cooled. Spoon in the pudding, smooth the top and refrigerate for one hour.
  • 4. While the tart chills, sprinkle the sugar over the raspberries and mash them gently with a fork. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, until the juice releases from the raspberries.
  • 5. Fold raspberries into the whipped topping.
  • 6. Spoon the whipped topping over the chilled tart, making a thick layer. Shave the remaining two dark chocolate bars over the top of the whipped topping and return to the refrigerator for one hour before serving.
