  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Yield: Makes 24 geometric shaped cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 roll (18 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 bag (7 oz.) soft caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ⅔ cup cocktail peanuts, dried cranberries, raisins or cherries
  • ⅔ cup M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies
  • 1 (9 x 13-inch) non-stick baking pan

Directions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Using lightly floured fingers, break up the cookie dough and press it into the bottom of the baking pan to form a crust. Prick the dough with a fork. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove and cool for 10 minutes.
  • 2. In the meantime, melt the caramels with the water in the microwave for 1-1/2 minutes. Stir occasionally until caramel is smooth. Spread caramel mixture over the cookie crust, covering it completely.
  • 3. Sprinkle the caramel layer with the peanuts or dried fruits and M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Using a knife or cookie cutters, press or cut out 2-inch geometric shapes.
