Activity time: 20 min.
Difficulty: Easy
What you'll need:
- 1 bag Three Musketeers® Brand MINIS®
- 1 bag STARBURST® Brand Fruit Chews
- 8 inexpensive hat forms or plain hats (forms can be found in craft or fabric stores)
- 8 large plastic or fabric flowers
- An assortment of rhinestones, buttons and stickers
- 8 small bottles of glue
- 2 rolls double stick or packing tape
- 2 spools of tulle
- 2 pairs of scissors
What to do:
- Scatter the Three Musketeers® Brand MINIS® and STARBURST® Brand Fruit Chews on top of a worktable, along with the hats, flowers, rhinestones, buttons and stickers.
- Arrange the glue and tape on the table so that it is easy to reach.
- As each kid arrives, send them over to the table to create their own Mad Hatter’s Hat!
- Use the glue and tape to attach the candy, flowers, etc., onto the hat forms. Finally, add a band of tulle around the base of the hat and glue or tie into a bow.
- Be sure that the kids wear their hats to the tea party!
Tip: if you like color, spray paint the hat forms before the party, or, if you have plenty of space outside, let the kids spray their own.
Makes 8 hats.
