Cards of Guards Create Queen's guard costumes for each child before the party starts. Just trace an outline of the Jack of Hearts onto large white poster boards (you'll need two poster boards for each child). You can easily attach the poster boards together with string—creating a costume they can slip on. Be sure to cut the face out, so kids can stick thei faces in. When the kids arrive, they can color their cards before they put them on!
Nonsense Signs Add some whimsy to your Tiny Tea Party with silly signs placed all over the lawn and house. You can write anything from, "This Way” with the arrow pointing up; or "Where's the Rabbit?” with the arrow pointing into the house; or "Don't Read This Sign!” You can have a lot of fun, even before the party starts!
Follow the Rabbit Let the kids take part in this fantastic fairy tale come to life! Create a maze in your backyard with masking tape. Have a friend dress up as the Rabbit and wait at the end of the maze with goodies for all of the kids. Tell the children to find their way through the maze to the Rabbit. While the kids are making their way, have the Rabbit shout, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!”
