Kid Magicians Make magicians out of everyone! When the kids arrive, give each one a top hat and cape. Divide them up into pairs, and give each pair a bag containing a couple of magic tricks. (You can usually find magic tricks at your local costume or hobby shop.) Let each group go to a different room to practice their tricks. When everyone is ready, bring them back together and have them perform their tricks!
Magical Invitations Get your guests excited for the magic party! Using cotton swabs, write party invitations using invisible ink, milk or lemon juice. Be sure to send instructions along with each invitation telling your guests how to reveal their message. If you decide to use milk or lemon juice, the invitation must be held up to a hot lamp for the words to appear.
Great Big Cards Give your party a magical touch with fun decorations the kids can take home! Draw card faces (King, Queen, Jack, Joker) on large pieces of poster board, using markers to color them. When you have enough cards for every child, fan them out and tape them on the wall. Give an oversized card to each child as they leave!
